Lot 633
1921 Buffalo 5C PCGS MS66. PCGS graded MS-66. Untoned and boldly struck on all the devices. The reverse shows strong evidence of die clashing, commonly seen on this issue. 1921 is a semi-scarce date with a lower mintage than usual for the Philadelphia Mint as demand for nickels and coinage in general slowed in 1921, leading to several key dates being struck in 1921. While available with patience, certainly any 1921 Buffalo nickel this nice is worth waiting for, so don't miss out when it crosses the auction block. Pop 186; 40 finer, 12 in 66+, 28 in 67.
