1970s-80s extensive Viking spacecraft cover collection. Nearly 200 covers and cards plus photos and extensive collateral covering the entire Mars Viking program. Highlight is 8 handpainted covers by famed illustrator William Numeroff that honors Viking program. Each is numbered and signed by Numeroff with most also signed by some of those involved in program. Very few of these covers were made and this group was given to the consignor by Numeroff. Terrific collection all in one massive volume. Estimated Value $750 - 900

1970 -1981, interesting consignment balance. Hundreds of items from the Don Puddy Estate collection used by Don Puddy during this period. Includes Apollo 17 Flight Plan used by Flight Director Don Puddy and 9 different OV-102 (Columbia) Shuttle manuals used by Mr. Puddy in official capacity as flight director for STS-1. There is a good deal of material from period that Mr Puddy was Shuttle-MIR program working group co-chair that includes many Shuttle-MIR photos (much duplication), color transparencies with handwriltten numbers, FLOWN Phase I patch aboard June 27, 1995 flight of 'Atlantis' to MIR, cosmonaut & astronaut portrait lithos, proposed mission patch designs for Mr Puddy's consideration, Shuttle Training lithos and more. 1969 Flown U.S. Flag That Traveled to the Moon on Apollo 11. 5½ x 4" U.S. flag FLOWN on Apollo 11 mission (7/16/69 - 7/24/69.) Flag was mounted on cardstock with autopen signatures of the crew strictly to enhance display. Flown flag is from a long time resource of premium authentic space ephemera, a 20+ year veteran of the Johnson Space Center, who was presented the flag directly by the flight crew. The flown flag has been in the possession of the family, until making it available for auction. Still in its simple, original frame since January 1970 as noted and dated on verso. Sold with COA explaining the flag's excellent provenance. Estimated Value $3,500-UP
