American Revolutionary War Dagger (Plug Bayonet). Circa 1770s plug bayonet or spontoon. A very nice example boasting a fine hand-forged blade measuring approximately 8" in length with a 4½" wooden handle, to an overall length of 12½ ". It has excellent and attractive surface patina and is in quality condition. Etched on metal band of handle are the letters WM. Plug bayonets were used by by inserting the handle into the end of a musket barrel in order to instantly create a makeshift "spear." Fairly scarce, nice provenance. Estimated Value $600 - 800

Revolutionary War Era 6 Pound Canonball. Excellent, 6 lb., solid shot cannonball, ca. 1760s, evidently from Massachusetts. 3¾" in diameter. In overall very good untouched condition with the expected light to moderate surface pitting and a chocolate-brown age patina with various minor abrasions from internment. This cannonball is actually referenced in the family history Seven Generations: A Story of Prattville and Chelsea (1930) by industrialist Walter Pratt …." The writer has in his possession a cannonball, which family tradition credits Thomas Pratt with bringing away from Bunker Hill when he retreated…" Chapter 37 page 197. Photocopy included with cannonball. Estimated Value $400 - 600

3 Vintage Original Bayonets, Two With Scabbards. The first bayonet with out a scabbard is an India GRI MK II bayonet made by RFI (Rifle Factory Ishapore) & dated 4-43. Unfullered blade, simplified square pommel production. In very good condition. The second is a Japanese WWII bayonet from the Toyoda Jidoshoki Seusakusho company, 7-digit serial number at end of pommel, type 30 bayonet with scabbard. In overall very good condition. The third bayonet with scabbard has a 4-digit serial number on pommel Tiensten arsenal marking and the blade on this piece in fine condition. A nice collection well priced. Estimated Value $350 - 600
