1916. PCGS graded MS-67 Full Bands. Lovely toning on both sides of deep greenish russet shades. Ths strike is sharp and the surfaces are close to perfect in quality. First year of issue for the new Mercury dime, and these were well received and immediately popular with the public. Today they are highly collectible. Pop 130; 22 finer, 11 in 67+, 11 in 68 (PCGS # 4905) .

1917-D. NGC graded MS-64 Full Bands. PQ. Well struck on the central devices, especially so for the Denver Mint. The surfaces are bathed in satin luater and show just a whisper of gold toning. Exceptionally clean for the grade, as required for the near Gem level, and this one has great visual appeal. Pop 69; 19 finer, 14 in 65, 4 in 66, 1 in 67.
