1808 S-277 R2 F12. Glossy medium chocolate brown and light olive. Smooth and attractive; a tiny chip on the rim between stars 4 & 5 is the only notable mark. LDS with die failure at D-ST causing star 1 to be very weak, nearly gone (the so-called "12-Star Obverse).

1809 S-280 R2 VF25. Sharpness EF40 but covered with microscopic roughness that is mostly hidden under frosty dark olive brown and steel toning. No verdigris. The only mark is a fine hairline scratch from star 13 to star 3. E-MDS, Breen state III.

1809 S-280 R2 VG10. Sharpness near VF25 but dull and covered with very fine roughness. No verdigris and the only marks are some faint, very old pin scratches through the date, all lost in the toning. Dark olive brown and steel. MDS. Removed from a PCGS slab graded VG10, PCGS label #1552.10/14966356 included.

1812 S-291 R2 Small Date VG10. Sharpness near VF20 but very fine roughness covers the obverse and there is a spot of verdigris above the back of the head. Fine scratches cover the portrait and there is a shallow pit in the center of the cheek. Mostly glossy dark olive brown mixed with some reddish chocolate. MDS.

1813 S-292 R2 VF30. At least 10 points sharper but there is a planchet chip in the dentils at star 7 and a few very light but fresh scuff marks around the bust tip and left of star 10. Frosty light bluish steel brown and olive. Flowline luster covers the fields and protected areas on both sides. M-LDS, Breen state III. The obverse is slightly misaligned to K-5 while the reverse is centered on the planchet.
