Lot 1952
1981, $100 Federal Reserve Note. PCGS Superb Gem New 67PPQ. Fr-2169-G. Lot 1961
1934-A, $5 World War II Emergency Note. North Africa. PCGS Very Fine 35PPQ. Fr-2307. KL-1962. This lovely, fully original, and problem-free North Africa $5 has bright paper, outstanding eye appeal, and appears at first glance to be fully XF or better. This is the type of note that usually sells for a premium over the assigned grade, simply because of it's "look" that is superior to most average notes that might receive the same technically accurate grade.
Estimated Value $75 - 100.

Lot 1964
1934-A, $10 World War II Emergency Note. North Africa Star Note. PCGS Very Fine 25 Apparent. Fr-2309*. KL-2260*. Although given an apparent grade by PCGS because of the missing bottom left corner tip and a light partial teller stamp on the face, this is a 98% good-looking circulated example of a star note that is difficult to locate in any grade above VF.
Estimated Value $100 - 150.

This mid-grade circulated example is fully original and problem-free for the grade, as defines the "PPQ" designation for "premium paper quality" assigned by PCGS, and it displays only the typical light soiling that is expected from a note that spent some time in circulation.

Lot 1970
1928. $50 Gold Certificate. Fr-2404. KL-2525. This Fifty is a pleasing circulated example with a trivial edge split in the left margin, a few tiny pinholes, and a couple of unobtrusive teller stamp marks on the back. The few minor flaws are mentioned solely for accuracy as none of them individually detracts from the overall appeal. The note will grade Fine to VF.
