Just short of his 18th birthday, Leonard Wyon executed medals for the visit. In BHM, Brown noting mint records reports that 15 medals were struck for Nicholas on July 24, a further 12 on Sept. 13 and finally two more on Oct. 7. It is likely that these are silver examples, and whilst the medal is recorded in silver, no glazed specimens have been noted.
