First registered out of Wilno franked with two 10m Zeligowski (Scott #28) to Milwaukee WI and second registered out of Nowo-Swieciany franked on reverse by 10m Union & vertical pair of 20m Kosciuszko & Mickiewicz (#40 & 41, respectively). Latter cover creased away form stamps. Backstamps & transits and all stamps are tied. Fine and scarce duo.

Nice group of 50 covers and cards that include two Colorado, one Feb 17, 1876 Georgetown cover & other July 12 in 1870s franked with 3¢ Washington grill so is likely territorial out of Denver. Dakota Territory with 1879-1888 covers from Swan Lake, Cooperstown, Deadwood, Esmond (1¢ card), Fargo and Lisbon. Indian Territory with 1893-1907 covers & cards. Covers include Chaddick, Purcell, Tulsa, Sapulpa 9x3) and Muskogee while cards include South McAlester (x2) and Okeman. Kansas Territory Feb 24 (1850s) Leavenworth City franked with 1857 3¢ issue so is likely territorial. Montana Territory 1883-1884 with Helena cover and cards from Billings (x2), Bozeman and Mills City. Nevada Oct 3 (1860s) Virginia City cover likely a territorial. New Mexico Territory 1885-1906 covers from Las Vegas (x2) and card from Raton. Utah Territory 1876-1895 with covers or cards from Provo, Salt Lake City (x11), Ogden (x2), Weber, Cedar Valley, Hooper, Beaver, Kelton and Lehi. In addition there is 1891 Martinsdale MONT cover and 1913 New Mexico RPO card. Fine group overall.

1970s Watergate Scandal Autograph Collection with Fdcs. Close to 40 autographs from people connected directly or tangentially to the Watergate scandal with 33 different. They sign on FDcs, handwritten notes or photos smaller than 8"x10'. Signatures include Byrd, Clifford, Colby, Colson, Connolly, Dash, Dean, Ellsburg, Ehlichmann, Ervin, Gray, Haig, Haldeman, Hunt, Jackson, Kalmbach, Kleindienst, Laird, Liddy, MacGregor, Magruder, Rolando Martinez (he trashed Ellsburg's office), McCloskey, McCord, Mitchell, Odle, Percy, Parkinson, Rebozo, Richardson, Segretti (handwritten letter), Stans, Woods, Woodward and Wright. All bold signatures of villains and heros of this scandal.

  Hungary, 1871-1991 valuable collection. Housed in three Scott Specialty albums that begin with Scott #3. Next is 1874-1899 Crown of St Stephen issue with 33 stamps to 3fo with a couple of varieties. The 1900-1914 definitives to 5k with 59 stamps including varieties. From 1916 Harvesting Wheat to 1956 issue the collection is strong lacking only #578-96, 945-58, 973, 982-3, 996 and 1168-70 but does include #841 imperf, 841a, many imperfs such as 851-55, 864-66 complete sheets of 9, 896-900, 901-05, 906-10 and also has two 1956 Glider booklets (one with staple aging). The 1957-1991 period features 1190 stamps with 1181a imperf, 1202a, 1202a imperf and many other imperfs where in some cases only the imperfs are present and not the perfs. The semi-postals are complete from 1913 to 1949 plus later issues and include B144-47 sheetlets of 10, B148-50 sheets of 4, B203-04 sheets of 4, B206 imperf and many other imperfs. Semis total 90 items in all. The airpost and air semi-postals with more than 250 items including C67 sheet of 4, 1949 & 1950 UPU imperfs. CB15-16 imperf, CB198A-198D sheet of 4 and more. Collection concludes with Back of the Book & Occupation issues with 600 stamps. Virtually all original gum with much never hinged, fine to very fine.

Includes Denmark with four margin Scott #2 with numeral cancel 123 (Meldorf) and 33 Christmas seals from 1905 to 1945 period. Finland with early issues and #69 used. Iceland with many better used stamps including complete sets. Norway with four margin #1 with sharp #112 target cancel. Close to 400 issues of Sweden concludes the collection. Some mixed condition with mint hinged sprinkled throughout. Has shades, perfs and cancel interest primarily in the earlier issues. Cat value is in $15,000 range. Generally fine condition.

  Worldwide, 1890s-2013 Michael Orenstein collection balance. Hundreds of philatelic items including stamps, covers, supplies & literature. Stamps are small in number but include late 19th to early 20th century with Japan used issues, two Judith Cook essays on envelope, set of 6 Japanese woodblock prints in special album issued to honor Japan commemorative issues from 1949 to 1962. Covers include 250 Sweden FDcs from 1990s through 2013, cute 1938 Mickey Mouse cover and others. Stamp suuplies are interesting. They include early hinge boxes such as Bertam Poole Peerless & "Pik" hinges with some of these full of original hinges, US Specialist perf gauge, Inter-Science Macroscope 25 8x30 monocular, fancy magnifier designed in the style of Fabrege, many types of perf gauges and more. Literature includes the 1962 Minoru Sera Ryukyu Handbook with the errata card, Honolulu Advertiser Hawaii Collection auction catalogs complete (softbound), 1946 FDR Collection Part I & II auction catalogs both with bid sheets plus 15 other auction catalogs and references. Michael Orenstein used these materials during his philatelic career. Also includes philatelic t-shirts and ties from Michael's earlier days. Interesting lot.

Interesting archive with 60 covers, forms and documents principally addressed to Mr. Oppenheimer or his wife in France, mostly documenting his avoidance of transport to "final destination" during the Holocaust.
