Lot 2023		1857-O. PCGS graded AU-58. Only 30,000 minted of which merely 209 examples are estimated to have survived, and this example is clearly one of the very finest seen today. Lovely surfaces that offer hours of enjoyable study, as luster remains in the fields, and there are minimal handling marks on the coin. Well struck and semi prooflike, and one that was probably an early strike from these dies.
