1903. PCGS graded Proof 65. Only 154 minted. Fully brilliant Gem Proof. The surfaces are free of any distracting specks or spots, and the surfaces are stunning in quality. This is one of the finest to survive from this limited issue, and highly desirable as gem proofs like this are few and far between. An historic example that will bea major centerpiece of any advanced collection. This issue in proof was struck in a semi-brilliant finish and while it does not have the contrast seen on dates prior to 1902, is precisely how these are supposed to be. Exceptional quality and highly appealing. Pop 4; 2 finer, 1 in 66, 1 in 67 (PCGS # 8498) .
