Amiry, Teimur. Bicentennial. A stilll life of a gold Liberty coin and a $100 bill and its reflection inspired by the United States Bicentennial. Mixed media. Giclée, handpainted over by the artist and presented in a Renaissance style gilt frame. Frame measures 24½"x 20½". Painting 17½" x 12½"

Teimur Amiry is recognized throughout the world, especially in the U.S., Italy, France, Germany, and England, for his modern Renaissance paintings. As a young man, Mr. Amiry travelled throughout Europe, spending most of his time in Italy where his work was lauded by the Italian media as the "Reinvention of the genius of Leonardo DiVinci". He owned three galleries in Beverly Hills over a forty year period (Beverly-Wilshire Hotel, Rodeo Drive, and Beverly Drive). His many high profile clients include Sophia Loren, Ringo Starr, Kirk Douglas, and Tony Bennett. Examples of his work were left in the estates of Howard Hughes, Frank Sinatra, Fred Astaire, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. Amiry's three dimensional images against dark velvety backgrounds are so real that they practically jump off the canvas. His trademark is a faint image of himself hidden somewhere in his paintings.
