Probable Green Room or Backstage Signature Board Signed by a multitude of celebrities, white board, signed in multi-colored fiber-tip marker, 24" x 30", c. 1970's. Signatures include: Jane Russell, Fay Wray, Rita Moreno, Janet Leigh, Bob Hope, Julie Harris, Kris Kristofferson, Helen Hayes, Debbie Reynolds, Shirley MacLaine, Karl Malden, Gene Autry, Roy Rogers & Trigger and a cast of at least a hundred more. Truly an autograph collectors dream. Framed to an overall size of 27" x 33". Fine.

[Hollywood Legends] Joan Crawford, James Cagney, and Mae West. Collection of four items: Crawford, Joan Typed Letter Signed ("Love, Joan"), one page, 10½ x 7¼", no place, Christmas, 1968, on decorative "Merry Christmas - Happy New Year" stationery. To "Darlings Jewel and Julien. James Cagney,Typed Letter Signed ("Jim"), one page, 10½ x 7¼", Beverly Hills, CA., March, 25, 1976, on personal stationery. To Ann, a lovely letter to a friend "I saw a bit of the Chieftons on television the other night there was a lad who played a couple of instruments….he was a lantern jawed chap with a Dutch bob. I must say, I don't approve of the hair that is being 'dis-ported', but in some cases it does help." Vivien Leigh (1913-1967). Typed letter signed, one page, 8½ x 5½", New York, March 23, 1963, on Hotel Dorset letterhead. To Miss Joyce Huddart, London, England. A personal letter to a friend in which Leigh mentions the Broadway musical "Tovarich"; she later won a Tony for her performance. Leigh has boldly annotated, in blue ink, " All my good wishes. As ever, Yours Sincerely."; Mae West Goldenrod-colored personal check signed, with West's name engraved at top, drawn on United California Bank of Hollywood, California, December 2, 1973, made payable to Charles Krauser for $69.06. Bank cancellations do not affect the bold signature. All items in fine condition.

Postcard photograph signed with her married name ("Lillie de Bathe"), n.p., n.d. (1899-1929). Photo by Burr McIntosh, N.Y.C. and published by The Rotograph Company. Mrs. Langtry (she was married to Edward Langtry from 1874-97) is shown in a dramatic pose. Tip of upper right corner is missing; minor edge wear.

Leigh, Vivien (1913-1967) British actress best known for her role as Scarlett O'Hara in "Gone With the Wind. Autograph, in blue ink, one page, 9½ x 5½", hard buff paper, n.p., June 23, 1964. Miss Leigh has boldly signed on what appears to be a temporary note pad. Uneven tears along left margin. Fine condition.

Monroe, Marilyn. Souvenir Menu inscribed and signed "Love Marilyn Monroe" on the inside upper-right corner, c. 1955. Menu is from the Royal Nevada Hotel's Crown Room in Las Vegas; recipient's name is illegible. The entertainment was "Guys and Dolls" with the original Broadway cast of Vivian Blaine, Robert Alda, and Sam Levene. The show opened in August 1955 and ran for twelve weeks. The Royal Nevada, "Home of the Dancing Waters," had just opened on April 19, 1955. Miss Monroe doubtlessly attended a performance. Signed in black ink. Fine.
