Roman. Green Glass Amphora, ca. 200-300 AD. This beautiful miniaturized glass version of an amphora has a reverse conical base that terminates at a knob, twin strap handles, a cylindrical neck that comes to a wide funnel mouth. It is embellished with a single applied trailing near the rim. This vessel exhibits a dark shade of green with a fine even iridescence. We note fine crack fissures expertly restored and only visible with the aid of a black light. All pieces are original. Height: 8 ½"; Length: 3".

The first is pale green glass shaped into two tubular phials, set side-by-side, with fine horizontal trailings and vertical decoration on handles; completely intact. Height: 4 ½". The second one is similar in shape and style with the horizontal trailing and decorated handles, this one has incredible iridescence; one minor repair. Mounted on custom stand. Height: 3 ¾".

Roman. Lot of Three Repaired Roman Glass Vessels. The first is a 1st century AD bell bottomed, tubular neck, and funnel mouthed vessel. Its coloring is a silvery polychrome iridescence covering light green glass. It has a couple fissure cracks and one small missing piece in body. Height: 4 ½". The second piece is a unique 3rd century AD light blue glass funnel with polychrome iridescence focused more in the light blues and greens. It still has soil deposits in the tubular funnel part. Repair to lip of vessel and there is a tiny hole in body, unrelated to the lip repair. Height: 3 ¾"; Diameter: 2 ¾. The third piece is an unguentarium from the ca. 3rd or 4th century AD with a bell bottom, tubular neck pinched at body, and a flat flaring rim. It is a beautiful silver white opalized iridescence and has been repaired on the neck. Height: 6 ½.
