Lot 1993
1878 Morgan Dollar. 8 tail feathers. NGC graded MS-64 Deep Prooflike. With light scuffs and ticks in the fields and on the face, but a beauty for the investor. Seldom found this nice, and with such deep mirroring in the fields.
Estimated Value $750 - 850.

Superb.

Lot 2004
1879-CC Morgan Dollar. CC over CC. MS-60. Probably cleaned at some time in the past, but the surfaces don't show any problems as a result. Flashy luster and with moderate handling marks. One of the really difficult, and expensive dates to locate in Mint State. This is an example of the large over small CC mintmark. We suspect it is from the GSA hoard which was released some years ago, allowing many more collectors the chance to complete their sets.
Estimated Value $900 - 1,100.

Lot 2005
1879-CC Morgan Dollar. CC over CC. MS-60. Better than one would expect for the grade, the surfaces show moderate handling marks, and Liberty's face only a couple of minor scrapes. Choice gold toning around the periphery, a bit mottled, but it adds to the appeal. Scarce in this grade.
Estimated Value $900 - 1,100.

Most of ticks are located on the lower bust tip of Liberty, and are not deep or disturbing.
