1837 Hard Times Token Low-49, Rulau HT-73 R2 EF45. Choice glossy light chocolate brown. A flawless piece except for two small contact marks hidden on the eagle's shield. Great eye appeal. Not a real Federal half cent but often collected with the regular half cent series as the only half-cent-denominated Hard Times Token issued in 1837. Listed on page 95 in the "Redbook."
