Bruce Treadyway was a reporter and photographer for Flight Line Publications covering the early days of the Shuttle program including launches, landings at Kennedy, Edwards and only White Sands landing. STS-49, 1992, FLOWN Hasselblad DE-32 Data Module Assembly (3.5x2.75x0.75") This Data Module (SEF 33101018-332) was flown on 11 different Shuttle flights (except Challenger flights) including STS-49, 51, 55, 61, 68, 88, 90, 92, 96, 99 and 108. The Data Module is attached to the top of the Hasselblad film magazine (part of the Hasselblad 553 ELS space camera). It prints 32 alphanumeric characters along the edge fo the film frame at the time of the exposure. Data recorded includes record date, Greenwich Mean Time, film roll, frame number and shuttle mission number. There is a piece of blue velcro attached to the side.
