1972, Apollo 16, FLAG FLOWN TO LUNAR SURFACE. USA flag that was flown to the Moon and taken to lunar surface during Apollo 16 mission. Includes handwritten and signed COA from the consignor reading: "Apollo 16/Flown Flag/This American Flag (55x4") was flown on Apollo 16 to the lunar surface aboard module #11, "Orion." This flag was given to me by the crew upon their return and has been in my possession ever since." Estimated Value $3,000 - 3,500
