Magnificent Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Chrysanthemum Design. Complete Service for 12 plus 6 serving pieces. Pat. 1880. Covered in blossoming chrysanthemums, this is one of Tiffany's most ornate designs. The flowing lines are characteristic of "the Tiffany Style," or Art Nouveau as it is more widely known. The back of each piece is more highly decorated than the front, a surprising visual treat. In superb, virtually Mint condition and housed in a custom Reed & Barton handcrafted silverware wooden storage chest.
Consists of 12 of the following: Dinner knifes, Luncheon knifes, Butter Spreaders; Dinner forks, Salad forks, Luncheon forks; Cream-Soup spoons, Vegetable spoons, Tea spoons; Six various serving pieces. Total weight: 250 ozt. Estimated Value $5,000 - 6,000
