China. Lot of 4 Historic Eastern Asian Coin Cataglogs: All are in VF to EF condition, including:
"A Bibliography On Far Eastern Numismatics and An Union Index of the Currency, Memorial Pieces, Charms and Annulets of the Far East" by Braddan Coole with the author's inscribing for Eduard Kann.
Modern Coins of China (1951 Second Edition in English). Hard cover. By Kalgan Shih with author's inscribing for Eduard Kann.
Illustrated Catalogue of Sinkiang Gold and Silver Coins (1990). Hard Cover. By Lin Gwo-Ming and Ma Tak-Wo, with Lin's inscribing for Irving Goodman.
All of the books were signed for or owned by famous Asian coin collectors and catalogers like Eduard Kann and Irving Goodman. It's resonable to think that the network between Eduard Kann and these Asian catalogers helped him to build his famous catalogs in Chinese Coins. Therefore, these books should be considered as proofs of these friendships and intercommunion between the Eastern and Western numismatists.
Estimated Value $200-UP.
