1807 Draped Bust Half Dollar O-105 Rarity 2. NGC graded AU-53. Lightly toned with traces of mint luster still present. Final year of the Draped Bust, Large (or Heraldic) Eagle design, and a worthy high grade specimen for a Type Set. Mintage in the half dollars as well as the dimes and quarter dollars this year tended to be larger than average. No explanation has come forth given as to why.

Lot 2810
1807 Draped Bust PCGS graded Genuine AU Details. Cleaning. Bright from an old cleaning, now turning a silvery-grey. Light die clash marks as almost always present on 1807 Bust Half Dollars of the Type. Excellent hair detail including drapery folds on Liberty's draped bust are just a few of the indications this was sharply struck for a Bust Half Dollar. The design, which was incorporated on the Dimes, Quarters and Half Dollars of 1807 comprise a worthwhile challenge for a Type collector (PCGS # 6079) .
Estimated Value $1,800 - 1,900.
