1863. NGC graded Proof 67 Ultra Cameo. CAC Approved. A totally brilliant white superb gem with outstanding cameo contrast. Only 460 Proofs minted. With business strike 1863 Seated Dimes a rarity, and virtually unobtainable in high grades, the weight falls on the supply of Proofs, which was limited in the extreme and the mintage shows. A few, but only a very few, survive with this coin's gorgeous originality. Per the population figures, bidders will see why we expect this handsome offering to realize a firm price realized: Pop 3; none finer at NGC.
