Canada, BC-19 1935A $1,000. PCGS Choice New 63PPQ. This spectacular example of the scarce 1935 $1,000 English issue is fully original, problem-free, and is kept from a higher grade only by very slightly imperfect margins. Just 66,500 examples were printed, and high grade survivors are rare indeed. With rare Canadian notes now appreciated on both sides of the border, expect spirited bidding for this rarity before the hammer falls.

  Large Group Lot of Central Bank of China Notes. 177 notes are included in this group from the Central Bank of China. The majority of the notes are Fine to Very Fine, with some problems observed. Of the notes included in the lot, 173 of them are 5 Yuan 1936 SCWPM# 217 notes. Also included is a 10 Customs Gold Units 1930 SCWPM# 327 and a 100 Yuan 1941 SCWPM# 243. Two exceptions are noticed in the lot, a Bank of China 10 Yuan 1937 SCWPM# 81 and a China Republic 500 Yuan 1945 SCWPM# 283. Lot of 177 notes.
