1787 Machin's Mills Halfpenny Vlack 17-87B Rarity-2 VF25. Slightly glossy dark olive brown with slightly lighter steel brown toning on the highpoints. The planchet is decent but not perfect and is covered with microscopic granularity. No verdigris, and the only marks are a couple old, light scratches in the field before the neck. M-LDS with obvious swelling left of the shoulder on the obverse and at RIT in BRITAN on the reverse. In addition this piece was struck with a curious tab extending from the edge at the right edge of the bust suggesting there was a break in the planchet cutter. The date is strong. Listed on page 67 in the "Redbook." Weight 117.1 grains.

1789 Mott Token on Thick Planchet Breen-1020 VF35. Glossy chocolate brown with wisps of darker olive brown on the reverse. The only defects are a couple tiny rim nicks above MOTTS and traces of light greenish crud nestled around a few of the letters on the obverse. Later die state with obvious die rust visible on both sides and an internal cud break at the left top of the clock. Listed on page 74 in the "Redbook." Weight 164.7 grains.

1794 Talbot Allum & Lee Cent with New York Breen-1032 Fuld-3 VF25. Glossy chocolate brown and steel. No notable defects, only trivial contact marks. This is the rare Fuld-3 die variety with strong die cracks on the reverse. Listed on page 76 in the "Redbook." Weight 155.7 grains.
