1981, $50 Federal Reserve Note. Error: Gutterfold on Face and Back. PCGS Very Fine 30 Apparent. Fr-2120-G. A nearly vertical gutterfold traverses the left half of Grant's portrait and the corresponding area of the U.S. Capital building on the back. A small edge split is present in the top center of the note and is the reason for the Apparent grade.

The middle note is a misalignment error which is graded Choice About Unc 58EPQ, and has the back printing misaligned to the right with a significant portion of the adjacent note showing at the left end. The first bookend end note grades Choice About Unc 58EPQ, and the last note in the bookend grades About Uncirculated 55EPQ. Lot of 3 notes.
