1930. PCGS graded MS-64+ Full Head PQ CAC Approved. A nice white coin comparable to the 1929-P just offered and deserving attention from all serious buyers. Last year of issue. Normal conditions would have left the Liberty Standing design in production for 25 years after its introduction in 1916. However, Congress designated 1932 as a year to honor the 200th anniversary of George Washington (1732-1799) and it chose the medium of the Quarter Dollar to do this. Instead of reverting to the former Liberty Standing motif after 1932, the government continued the Washington design in its place (PCGS # 5779) .
Estimated Value $400 - 425.
