Pleasing and original, a lovely example of this issue from a British crown colony in Southeast Asia that included the territories of Malacca, Dinding, Penang, and Singapore. Scarce any finer, with the Krause reference not listing any valuation above $550 in "XF" grade.

Despite a small rust stain in the top margin, a very minor flaw that warranted an "Apparent" grade from PCGS Currency, this is a decent circulated example of a scarce type that is valued at $250 in "Fine" in the Krause reference.

They encompass various dates, sizes, grades, denominations, and include notes from all six continents. It consists of mostly lower value notes that catalog for less than $25 or so, but our quick math estimates the total catalog value from the Krause reference to be at least $2,500 to $3,000. A wonderful group lot that represents an opportunity for either the beginning World currency enthusiast or the vest pocket dealer. In person examination is encouraged. Lot of 257 notes.
