1922-D. PCGS graded MS-64 Red & Brown. Well struck with natural slightly faded mint red color. Coming off the 1920-21 economic slowdown in the country, production of Lincoln Cents remained at a reduced level for 1922, and only the Denver Mint was assigned to strike this denomination. A mere 7,160,000 were produced for all of 1922. (In comparison, 1923's total mintage was over ten times this amount!) (PCGS # 2538) .
