1936-S Bay Bridge Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-66 CAC Approved. Striking lilac and multi-color toning on both sides. In an OGH. The original Oakland Bay Bridge, built in the 1930s, is undergoing a major renovation project as this auction occurs. Curiously, the new span is being modularly constructed in China (!) and shipped on huge cargo ships to into San Francisco Bay (PCGS # 9254) .

1921 Missouri Half Dollar, 2 x 4. PCGS graded MS-64. Frosty and untoned. In an OGH. Struck on the 100th anniversary of the admission of Missouri to the Union, the event was celebrated at Sedalia during August 1921. Robert Aitken designed the coin. It has a frontiersman on the obverse, and another frontiersman and Indian on the reverse. Only 5,000 of the scarcer 2 x 4 variety minted (PCGS # 9331) .
