Bowen, I.T. "Pet-A-Le-Shar-Ro, A Pawnee Brave". Lithograph by I. T. Bowen, published by F.W. Greenough, Philadelphia, 20½ x 14½ in., including wide margins. Handcolored print with minimal highlights in red, brown, and yellow. The title is printed in black in lower margin beneath portrait, which features a young Pawnee brave dressed in eagle feather headdress, fur-trimmed cloak, blue-beaded necklace, and wearing an Indian Peace Medal. Print has been trimmed and affixed to thick poster board.

Cody, William F. "Buffalo Bill" (1846-1917) Army scout, buffalo hunter and showman; best remembered for his Wild West show. Typed Letter Signed ("W.F. Cody") on letterhead embossed "Buffalo Bill's Wild West," one page, 9½ x 7½ in., New York, March 23, 1898. To John F. Ambrose, informing him that the Wild West would open at Madison Square Garden on March 30th. "…I would consider it a great personal favor and honor if you would accept a box for yourself and friends for that evening…." Light toning and normal folds, else fine. Matted and framed to an overall size of 16 x 12¾ in.
