Always popular with the obverse mint-mark, our consignor has a fondness for the 1836-39 style Bust Halves, acquiring the full date run (sans 1838-O) with duplicates. This fascinating 1839-O features some dramatic die breaks encircling the obverse and splayed out across the reverse. Late die state on the reverse has joined the bottoms of all the letters in UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
