Anaheim Plan Emergency Voucher, Anaheim, CA. $1.00 Undated (1932) Sample. PCGS Choice New 63. This rare piece of Depression scrip was issued in January, 1932. According to Neil Shafer and Ralph Mitchell, in their Standard Catalog of Depression Scrip of the United States, many area merchants refused to go along with the plan that issued these notes, and it received only partial acceptance in the marketplace. The mayor saved three unused pieces as a souvenir of the bank holiday era; no known used pieces are known and only three unused pieces have survived.

Giori Test Note. PCGS Gem New 65PPQ. This "test printing" of notes using the Giori press was produced in the 1970s in Europe as a proposal for the BEP. Surviving examples are highly collectible, and an entire subset of the hobby has specialized in the varied designs and varieties of this series. This one-sided face example features portraits of Lincoln, Washington, and Grant, with typical ink smearing.
