Soviet Program, c1960, Rocket Lamp (7x15"), An unusual metal table lamp with a rocket model mounted on a round metal base designed so that when plugged in, the light in the base of the rocket makes the lamp look as if the rocket were launching. A decorative border on the base depicts cosmonauts floating in space. Excellent overall condition and considered one of the rarest of space lamps.

Soviet Program, c1960s, Cosmonaut Survival Radio Beacon. The R-855UM Warsaw Pact Survival Radio was issued at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s It consists of two units including the battery and either a whip (not included) or a Komar-2M bright orange, cone-shaped antennea (31x11") for added visibility. This unit was part of the NAZ survival kit and was part of all Soviet space flights for many years. An attractive addition to any collection.

Soviet Program, Gagarin, Titov, Tereshkova, Yegarov, Sevastyanov Autographs. On an inside page of the scarce 1967 PR book "The Cosmonauts are Talking" (1967, 265pp., hard with dust jacket (faults). Gagarin has notated his autograph "He called us to Space" referring to Tsiolkovsky (the "Father of the Russian Space Program). Well illustrated and quite interesting. This is the first time we have seen this book. Early Russian books about space offer a window into the Russian space program and Russian life that Americans were unable to see at the time.

Vostok 1, 1961, Garagin, Titov, Nikolayev and Popovich Autographs. An interesting lot that includes 1) a 1962 Event cover signed by Gagarin, Nikolayev and Popich. The cover has the stamp issued for the Vostok 2-3 flight tied by a striking red pictorial cancel, 2) an unused, multicolor 1959 propaganda picture postcard signed by Gagarin and 3) a black and white photo (mounted on card, 9.75x7.5") signed by Gagarin and Titov in different color inks. A description of the photo, in Russian, is mounted below the photo. An attractive, clean lot.

Vostok 1, 1961, Garagin, Nikolayev and Korolev Autographs. A striking vintage color photo (6.5x4.25") signed by Gagarin, Nikolayev and Korolev in ink at top. Some blue adhesive on the reverse showing this photo had been removed from a scrapbook. This type of vintage memorabilia is becomming scarce today and increasingly difficult to remove from Russia.

Vostok 1, 1961, Gagarin & Titov Autographs. On a rare, English language propaganda folder issued by the Soviets for the 1958 Brussel's World's Fair held in Belgium. This multi-panel, multicolor propaganda folder extols the Russian space achievements to that date. That it is signed by the first two Soviet cosmonauts makes it even more important. A great addition to any collection. Excellent condition.

Vostok 1, 1961, Gagarin Autograph. On the front page of the April 14, 1961 edition of "Vechernyaya Moskva" (The Evening Moscow) newspaper. This four page paper is devoted to Gagarin's triumphant return to Moscow after his flight, how he was met by the Moscow citizens and how the world reacted to his flight. The photo shows him being greated by Premier Khruschev (Gagarin has signed at the top right of the photo). Clean, attractive and the first time we have seen this paper. A nice piece of history.

Vostok 1, 1961, Gagarin Autograph. On a black and white photo (9x6.5") of him before his flight. He has written a lengthy inscription that reads: "Sergei Pavlovich! As the Commander of "Vostok," I heartly thankful and (I) wish you new successes - Gagarin." Reading between the lines, he is meeting with the guy who was in charge of building his Vostok spacecraft (Korolev !) and saying he hoped that he did a good job so that he (Gagarin) would survive his flight. Interesting and attractive.

Vostok 5, 1963, Gagarin, Titov, Tereshkova and Bykovsky Autographs. On a typed June 8-9, 1963 "Schedule of Events" (8x9") that they participated in. The "Schedule" is typed on a thick white paper that is lightly aged. The "Schedule shows that on June 8th at Noon, Titov met with a group of school children, at 4PM, Tereshkova was given a tour of a military ship and was briefed on its machinery and at 5PM, Gagarin met the Federal Commission (?) at the second launching pad. Just another couple of days in the life of the cosmonauts at Baikonaur. The piece is signed at the bottom opposite their typed names. Attractive and interesting.

Vostok 6, 1963, Gagarin, Titov and Tereshkova Autographs. On a multicolor pictorial picture postcard issued in honor of her flight. Tereshkova has signed at the bottom below her picture while Gagarin and Titov have signed on the side. Having the autographs of the first man in space and the first woman in space on the same card is fairly unusual. Attractive and interesting.

Voshkod 2, 1965, Belyayev, Leonov and Gagarin Autographs. On a Cuban FDC franked by the 1c Cuban stamp issued for their flight and tied by a black pictorial cancel. It is unusual to find the autographs of the first man in space and the first man to "walk" in space on the same cover. Atractive and rare.
