Lot 2171
1929, $10 Federal Reserve Bank Note. PCGS Currency Extremely Fine 45PPQ. . Fr-1860-L. . KL-1985. San Francisco is the second scarcest $10 FRBN in terms of overall survival, but high grade uncirculated examples are, by our experience, even scarcer than the Dallas district notes. This piece isn't uncirculated, but it's close--just a few folds are present and it retains a fully bright and fresh appearance. Embossing is evident even through the holder.
Estimated Value $300 - 400.

1929, $20 Federal Reserve Bank Note. PCGS Currency Very Fine 30PPQ. . Fr-1870-L. . KL-2273. Bright, fresh, and original, but with several folds that are commensurate the assigned grade. It is from the much scarcer San Francisco district, and nicer examples are truly difficult to locate.

Lot 2177
1929, $50 Federal Reserve Bank Note. PCGS Currency About New 53PPQ. . Fr-1880-L. . KL-2532. San Francisco $50 FRBns are scarcer in high grades than most other district banks, probably roughly tied with the Minneapolis district for second scarcest behind the Dallas district. This piece has just a trivial amount of handling, and otherwise faces up as a fully uncirculated example.
Estimated Value $250 - 300.
