1847 Hawaiian Cent. PCGS graded MS-63 Brown. Traces of mint color still visable. Quite a rare coin this nice. Some deep purple color around the bust of King Kamehameha (who reigned 1824-1854). This is the only instance where a one-cent piece was made for and issued in the Kingdom of Hawaii. Most of the original 100,000 minted were subsequently melted (PCGS # 10965) .

1989 Royal Hawaiian Mint Proof Set. 5-piece Gem Proof set in the original special black box and mounted in a lucite holder. Contains: 1 oz., ½ oz., ¼ oz., 1/10 oz., and 1/20 oz. 999 fine gold. Issued on the 30th Statehood Anniversary. Set # 222 of 400. All coins are in gem Proof condition. A total of 1.9 oz of pure gold. The low mintage and high gold fineness of these sets is always an attraction. Lot of 5 coins.
