An interesting card with a large printed facsimile of the poets signature at center, directly above which he has inscribed the salutation, "Greetings & very truly yours James Whitcomb Riley Indianapolis: March 6, 1907." A printed legend at lower left identifies the central printed signature as a "Fac-simile Autograph." Riley has underlined the word "Fac-simile" and written "and original JWR," in hand underneath in reference to the holograph inscription above. Three signatures in all, one printed, one autographed, and one initialed. Crease at center, with mounting traces on verso, otherwise fine. An attractive and unusual example.
