"Pioneer" and "Mariner" Satellites, 1975, First Day Covers with Hand-Drawn Cachets. Lot of two FDcs including the Feb 28th Pioneer-Jupiter FDC with a multicolor handpainted, signed Robert McCall cachet of the satellite in flight. McCall passed away in February 2010. The other FDC was issued in honor of the Mariner-Venus/Mercury April flight and has a pen and ink, signed drawing by Roy Griton. An attractive and striking pair.
