Lot 2564
1891, $10 Coin Note. PMG Gem Uncirculated 66. . Fr-370. . KL-434. The stern visage of General Philip Sheridan gazes from the surfaces of this pristine Treasury Note $10. The margins are sufficient for the Gem grade, and the colors are bright and bold. The $10 is much scarcer than the $1, $2, or $5 in this series, which features a series of popular Union Civil War generals and makes one contemplate how much these notes actually circulated in the South.
Estimated Value $8,000 - 10,000.
