Meteorite Bracelet Made of Rolled Gold. This rare and unusual rolled gold bracelet has 9 rectangular 10 x 3 mm meteorite beads embedded in a thick rolled 14k gold bracelet. Rolled gold is about 100 times as thick as gold plate and is notable for its durability. Each of the rectangular beads has been carefully cut from an ordinary chondrite stony meteorite NWA 869 that formed at the origin of the solar system 3.57 billion years ago and still shows some of the irregular shaped chondrules. The bracelet is 2.5 x 2.2 inches and would make a perfect complement to any of the meteorite necklaces.

Lunar Meteorite Moon Dust Jewelry. A very important discovery was made in the Sahara Desert in July 2007 when meteorite hunters came upon the largest, freshest, and most important of all Lunar meteorites found up to that point. It was nicknamed "the rock" and weighed over 25 pounds. This meteorite was determined to be from the Lunar highlands region and given the designation NWA 5000 to set it apart from all other meteorites. The complete meteorite is in the Hupe Collection and most of it will be preserved or sent to many institutions for study. This 0.8 inch glass vial with a sterling silver screw top contains a generous 50 milligrams of cut material from this important Lunar meteorite. The meteorite pieces are in the form of small to large grains and are light gray in color. This silver vial has been hung on an 18 inch leather cord that would be fashionable for both men and women and comes with an authenticity card from the Hupe Collection.

Lot 1437
Meteorite Necklace With Large Silver Spacer Beads. This 23 inch long hand-made meteorite necklace is composed of 45 8mm round NWA 869 stony meteorite beads as well as 8 interspersed large sterling silver spacer beads and a sterling silver lobster claw. At 3.57 billion years old, these meteorite beads are older than any rocks or gemstones on Earth and have small pieces of chondrites in the medium brown matrix that authenticates them as being from a meteorite. No rocks on Earth today have chondrites in them as the chondrites that were present when the Earth formed have been lost to volcanic activity over the last 3.57 billion years.

Lot 1438
Meteorite Necklace With Round Beads And Gold Spacer Beads. This 18.5 inch long meteorite necklace is made up of 42.8mm round NWA 869 meteorite beads and 13 14k gold spacer beads with a 0.5 inch 14k gold filigree clasp. Because of the great loss of meteorite (up to 80%) and the fact that the remaining NWA 869 meteorites have much more value as intact meteorites, no more beads will be made in the future. The distinct chondrules are present to prove the authenticity of the stony meteorites and it should be noted that these necklaces are much lighter than familiar iron-nickel meteorites.
