Lot 889
1933-S Liberty Walking Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-66. Well struck. Popular Depression-era date. Lustrous silvery freshness which has grand overall eye appeal. The above-average strike on the 1933-S strikes complements this eye-appeal and, some might say, adds immeasurably to the appearance. Pop 74; 7 finer in 67 (PCGS # 6591) .

Lot 890
1937 Liberty Walking Half Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 65. Gem glittering Proof of this desirable early year. It took the Mint until 1936 before it was able to develop techniques for polishing dies for Proof Walking Liberty half dollars. The design is much different than the former Barber design, which caused the mint to delay making Proofs until pressure from collectors (through their congressmen) forced the issue. 5,728 pieces struck (PCGS # 6637) .
Estimated Value $1,100 - 1,150.
