Seated Liberty Half Dimes

Lot Photo Description Realized
Lot 777
1850-O Liberty Seated Half Dime. NGC graded MS-64. Lovely blue toning. Housed in an old holder. This is a fresh, radiant specimen, both sides being beautifully toned with frosty, glowing luster throughout. Meticulous strike on almost every device is what collectors look for in a Stars Obverse half dime, but this coin doesn't quite make the "full" grade, as seen in just a little weakness at the rim dentils. All the same, due to the sharp stars and other features of Liberty and the wreath, the numerical condition of MS64 is exact and obviously was carefully weighed by the grading service. Pop 7; 8 finer, 6 in 65, 2 in 66 (PCGS # 4346) .
Estimated Value $2,100 - 2,200.
