Chinese "Famille-rose" Porcelain "Ba Zhixiang" Dish, c. 1870-1908. Six character mark and period of Guangxu. With flared and slightly rounded sides, rising from a wide circular base. Painted in the interior medallion in light green enamel with flower scroll alternating with lotus and peony blossoms. The rim is painted in "famille-rose" enamels with the Eight Buddhist Emblems ('bajixiang'). Has a six character iron-red Guangxu mark in the base. Height: 1¾"; Diameter: 6 5/8".

Chinese Small "Famille-rose" Enameled Porcelain Flower Vase, 19th Century. Small delicate vase of rectangular design with upright sides and a short, slightly waisted neck. Painted on two sides with a lozenge medallion enclosing chrysanthemum on one side and peony with millet and two white cranes on the other. On a light blue "cell diaper" ground with scattered flower blossoms; iron-red single line four character hallmark in the base. Height: 5 5/8".

Exceptional Porcelain Bust of a Beautiful Lady. A Continental female bust, vintage late 19th-early 20th century, 19 1/2" tall by about 12" wide. In multi-color and gilt glazes. The subject, a lovely young woman, lightly blushed, draped and highlighted with holly leaves, casts her eyes downward in a demure or pensive pose, dreaming of a lost or distant love perhaps? We note two tiny chips to leafs points, otherwise excellent condition and very beautiful indeed.
