Reverse: Bearded and bare-headed head right of Caius Servilius Ahala; AHALA. Craw. 433/2; BMCRR 3864; Junia 30. Bold, choice portraits -- especially that of Brutus (M. Junius Brutus' illustrious ancestor). Much remaining luster, with areas of colorful iridescent toning. An outstanding example of this popular type. Choice Extremely Fine.

Perfectly centered obverse, with attractive old toning on both sides. Despite the wear, the portrait is splendid, among the finest styles in the lifetime series. Fine to Very Fine.

Both sides struck a bit off center. Otherwise, good strikes on superior metal, with artistic old toning. Excellent, bold portrait. Very Fine.

Pleasing toning, showing some colorful iridescence. An excellent portraitr type. A most historical piece -- struck shortly before Caesar's death. Very Fine.

Among the rarer of Caesar's portraits. Crawford records only 5 obverse dies for this issue.

Reverse a bit off center, but devices complete. Bold, even strike, on excellent metal. Nice old toning, showing some colorful iridescence. An outstanding Julius Caesar coin. Extremely Fine.

Well centered on rather tight flan. Attractive old toning with touches of blue iridescence. Obverse die worn, with some smoothing in fields; reverse struck from fresh die, and is sharp, with excellent metal. About Very Fine.

Choice strike -- sharp, toned and lustrous; a few deposits in right obv. field. Next a silvered Antoninianus of Aurelian: Military bust right / Togate Aurelian and Concordia (cf. Sear II 11523). Sharp, with excellent metal and nearly full silvering. Nice lot. Coins average Extremely Fine.

Overall a crisp and handsome portrait, with natural roughness to the metal. Dark brown and green patina. Very Fine.

Nicely centered and fully struck up, with very handsome portrait. Appealing soft luster on both sides, with hints of red toning in the recesses. Excellent coin! ICG graded AU-50.
