1830 N-11 R5. Fine-12. Sharpness VF20 or slightly better with very fine roughness under a glossy patina of dark olive brown with lighter steel brown highpoints. No verdigris, and the only notable mark is a tiny pinprick in the field right of star 2. Called F15 and tied for CC#4 in the Bland census. Noyes says VF30 net VG10 and tied for CC#5, his photo #28324. Either way this piece is solidly in the condition census.

No defects, very nice for the grade, especially for a rare variety that usually comes with significant problems. A good identifying mark is a tiny pinprick just under the right base of the I in UNITED. Usual die state with the reverse rotated 35 degrees from a normal head-to-foot orientation. EAC grade VG10. Called VG10 and tied for CC#9 in the Noyes census, and this is the highest graded example in his list in a condition better than average.
