1796 S-91 R3. NCS Details of VF. Edge Damage. Liberty Cap type. Attractive glossy olive brown and chocolate. The surfaces are smooth and there are only a few minor contact marks. The notable mark is a thin vertical nick at the upper junction of the cap and hair. The "edge damage" cited by NCS does not show and they may be referring to a very minor planchet clip at the rim before the chin. As such, the slabbers appear to have done this cent a disservice. LDS, Breen state VII. The date is bold and the legends are strong. EAC grade VF20. The attribution and Reiver provenance are noted on the NCS label.
