Lot 2553
1937-D Buffalo Nickel. 3 legs. PCGS graded MS-62. Nice golden colors. Choice satiny light gray surfaces underly this toning with nickel-gray luster. Nearly full pelt and head details on the reverse bison, an area that tends to be shallow mainly as a result of the 3-Leg nickels being struck from a worn, heavily lapped die. A truly beautiful MS62 specimen of this popular Denver branch mint oddity (PCGS # 3982) .
Estimated Value $2,700 - 2,800.
