[Herod Agrippa II, 56-95 C.E.] Large Bronze (22mm) minted at Tiberias under Claudius, dated year 13 (53/4 C.E.). . Hen-574. . AJC pl. 29, 5. RPC 4851. Upright palm branch. Reverse: Inscription within wreath. About Very Fine.

In 56 C.E. Nero gave Herod Agrippa II control of Tiberias and other lands; again, Agrippa is not mentioned on this coin's insciptions. This is, then, a civic issue. Seeing it will remind the reader of the palm branch type minted earlier by Herod Antipas, only with different dating schemes. No wonder we get confused!
