Columbian Exposition Tickets. A nice group of nine different tickets to the 1893 Columbian Exposition in Chicago, plus a Helper's Ticket to the Columbia County Fair (state unknown) in the same year. All are in New condition or close to it. Included are the regular issue ticket designs with Columbus, an Indian Chief, Washington, Franklin, Handel, and Lincoln, a Children's Special Ticket, A Chicago Day ticket, and a Manhattan Day ticket. This is the first $1.00 Bill issued for the Treasury Note series. The obverse shows the portrait of Edwin Staton, Secretary of War under President Lincoln.
