A lovely ornate back Martha Washington Silver Certificate $1 bearing serial number B19, one of only a handful of low serial numbered notes that has survived from this Fr. number. It appears fully Gem through the holder, and the colors are fresh and bright. Embossing is readily evident through the holder. Certain to appeal to collectors who appreciate low serial numbers, and also a candidate for a high grade type set.

The visual impact of this pristine example is overpowering even to the casual observer. The centering is flawless, the margins are dead bang even and broad and the beauty of the note is enhanced by its rich colors and bold print quality. High grade examples of any of the Educational series notes are highly valued, especially more so in with a $2 Ed in this elevated grade. This is the finest note of this design type graded thus far by PCGS. With the recent introduction of the Currency Registry Sets, this note is a must for the avid enthusiast or collector who simply must have only the very best.
