Large Table Top Display Amber "Nugget." Perhaps, Santo Domingo. The sinuously-shaped, almost brick-sized piece a rich transparent yellow-orange, with only very modest internal flaws for its size. At the top, one of the inclusions, perhaps an insect. Clean and finely polished, the piece makes a wonderful "natural history" display; or can be cut into numerous quality cabochons. Size, about: 5" x 6" x 2-7/8".
