Lot 571
19th Century Bronze Dancer by Paul Aichele. This lovely dancer with castanets bronze statue by sculptor Paul Aichele (1859-1910), is eleven inches high including the marble base and signed "Aichele 90", i.e. 1890. It is age toned in a mostly medium brown color with some green patina along the inside of the right arm and below the right underarm and breast, otherwise Very Good condition.

A Lovely Bronze Bacchus by Kuchler. Vintage late 19th/early 20th century, by Austrian sculptor Rudolph Kuchler, born 1867. Height 15.5" including the integral base signed "R. Kuchler fec." The standing figure of Bacchus with grapevine headdress is holding a jug and bunches of grapes in his left hand and a large amphora in his right. It is beautifully modeled with an expressive visage, possibly indicative of recent imbibing of this god's favorite beverage. Beautiful and in excellent condition.
Estimated Value $2,200 - 2,500.
